Level 1a:

  • A slower paced class with modified poses to accommodate individual needs.

Level 1b:

  • This beginning class is the starting point for most students who are new to Iyengar style yoga. This class involves a range of poses teaching the fundamentals of alignment. Breathing awareness and relaxation are included.

Level 2 :

  • For those with one or more years of experience, this class will evolve into more complex poses in each catagory: standing poses, forward bends, twists, and beginning backbends.

Level 3 :

  • This level is for experienced students. Classes include sun salutations, more advanced standing and seated poses, and backbends. There are opportunities to experience inversions, headstands, shoulderstands and handstands. Two or more years of prior yoga experience are suggested.


Private lessons are offered by arrangement.
