with the support of props, folded blankets, bolsters, chairs, etc.
This allows you and your body time to unwind and relax. Classical yoga
positions experienced in this way reduce stress, bring a sense of
well-being, and allow time for quiet reflection.
Beginning Yoga
Continuing Beginning
Yoga
For those with one or
more years of beginning yoga, this class will evolve into more complex poses
of each category: standing poses, forward bends, twists, beginning
backbends, and misc. stretches.
Intermediate Yoga
More vigorous, these
classes are for experienced students and include sun salutations, advanced
standing and seated poses, backbends and inversions (headstands,
shoulderstands, and handstands). We suggest that you have two or more
years of experience before entering this level.
