Gentle Yoga

  • This is a slow paced class with individualized instruction including breathing awareness, modified yoga poses and relaxation.  This is the recommended class if you are recovering from an injury or have muscular back discomfort and seek a mild yoga experience.

Prenatal Yoga

  • Prenatal Yoga can improve comfort during pregnancy and help prepare for childbirth.

Restorative Yoga

  • Poses are done with the support of props, folded blankets, bolsters, chairs, etc.  This allows you and your body time to unwind and relax.  Classical yoga positions experienced in this way reduce stress, bring a sense of well-being, and allow time for quiet reflection.

Beginning  Yoga

  • If you are a newcomer to yoga or haven't done yoga in a long time, you will want to start here.   This class covers a full range of poses and the fundamentals of alignment.  Breathing awareness and relaxation are included.  You will most likely remain at this level for at least one year.

Continuing Beginning Yoga

  • For those with one or more years of beginning yoga, this class will evolve into more complex poses of each category:  standing poses, forward bends, twists, beginning backbends, and misc. stretches.

Intermediate Yoga

  • More vigorous, these classes are for experienced students and include sun salutations, advanced standing and seated poses, backbends and inversions (headstands, shoulderstands, and handstands).  We suggest that you have two or more years of experience before entering this level.
