About the Yoga Center of Corvallis...

Established in 1990 in a renovated historic building in downtown
Corvallis, the Yoga Center studio provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere
for yoga. Dedicated instructors are well-trained and experienced
in a variety of techniques, emphasizing body alignment, breathing
awareness, and relaxation. Optimal class size allows for
individualized instruction. Mats and blankets are provided.

The Yoga Center offers beginning and intermediate classes, prenatal and
gentle yoga classes, and private lessons. Sessions are ten to
twelve weeks long and begin in September, January, March, and June.
Students are welcome to start at any time.

Participants can expect to learn a variety of traditional postures and
improve in flexibility, strength, and stamina. Yoga can increase
one's ability to relax, concentrate, and manage stress. Overall, a
general sense of well-being in enhanced.

The Yoga Center's style of teaching keeps evolving as the teachers and
participants learn, grow and change. Come an be part of an
evolving, supportive, community.
